Mica chips is a naturally occurring loss circulation material that is supplied in fine, medium, and coarse grades; it can be utilized in water base or oil base drilling fluids.

Mica is used to combat lost circulation. Mica can be mixed with other materials, such as Nut plug, Prima Sea, etc to formulate “pills” that are spotted across an identified thieve zone.

Mica is packaged in 25kg multi‐wall paper sacks with plastic liners. Store in a dry location away from source of heat or ignition, and minimize dust. Special packages are available based on customers' requirements.
