Product Introduction

CAS: 9004-65-3

Other name: Hypromellose

Description:

Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose is a white powder. The pass rate of 100 mesh is greater than 98.5 %. The carbonization temperature is 280-300 °C. The color change temperature is 190-200 °C. Soluble in water and some solvents. The aqueous solution has surface activity, high transparency and stable performance. The lower the viscosity, the greater the solubility.

Dissolution method:

1. Take the required amount of water, heating to 85 °C or more. HPMC was gradually added under slow stirring. Cellulose initially floated on the water surface, but gradually dispersed to form a uniform slurry. Then the solution is cooled under stirring.

2. The 1/3 or 2/3 water was heated to above 85 °C, and cellulose was added to obtain hot water slurry. Then add the remaining amount of cold water, keep stirring and cool.
