PAAS is a new type of functional polymer materials and important chemical products. The solid product is white or light yellow block or powder. The liquid product is colorless or light yellow viscous liquid. It is prepared by polymerization of acrylic acid and its esters by aqueous solution. Tasteless, soluble in sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, precipitated in calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and other aqueous solutions.

1 As a scale inhibitor and dispersant in the circulating cooling water system.

2 Widely used in papermaking and textile printing and dyeing, ceramics, coatings, building materials and other industries.

3 Can be used as superabsorbent resin, soil amendment.

4 Used in the food industry as viscosifier, emulsifying dispersant, etc.
