Product Introduction

Ferro chrome lignosulfonate helps to control rheological and filtration properties of water-based drilling fluids that contain large amounts of drill solids. QUIK-THIN thinner can be used to maintain dispersed water-based drilling fluids. It works effectively to reduce the effect of contaminants at all pH levels. QUIK-THIN thinner is effective at temperatures up to 350°F (175°C).
Ferro chrome lignosulfonate can help reduce the rheological properties of water-base drilling fluids, prevent high temperature gelatin and minimize adverse effects of mud contamination.

Advantages

Can provide secondary filtration control

Effective in high calcium environments

Helps improve filter-cake quality

Functions in lime, gypsum, salt water and fresh water fluids

Usage & Dosage

Add 2.9-22.8 kg/m³of Ferro chrome lignosulfonate
Note: When prehydrated bentonite is added to saltwater systems, add Ferro chrome lignosulfonate to the slurry to help minimize flocculation
