Name: Sodium Aluminates Silicate, 4A type
Molecular formula: Na2O•Al2O3•2SiO2•4.5h2o
CAS No.: 1318-02-1
Description:Zeolite 4A is a white solid in granular form, presenting a network-like structure with uniform small pores. It is insoluble in water and organic solvents but can dissolve in strong acids and strong alkalis. When heated above 800°C, it undergoes recrystallization, forming a structure resembling white quartz. It has the ability to adsorb moisture, liquids, gases, and unsaturated organic substances. With a strong calcium ion exchange capacity and no environmental pollution, it is an ideal phosphate-free detergent substitute compared to tripolyphosphate. It exhibits strong surface adsorption capabilities, making it an ideal adsorbent and desiccant.
