Maltodextrin 98% is a polysaccharide food ingredient that is a low conversion product between starch and starch sugars. An amorphous powder with a white or slightly yellowish appearance, free from visible impurities, and possessing a special odor. The taste is not sweet or slightly sweet.
Starch derivatives without free starch are made from starch or starchy materials through enzymatic hydrolysis, refining and spray drying

 
Application

 

Widely used in industries such as beverages, frozen foods, candies, cereal, dairy products, and health products, it can also be applied in textile, daily chemical, and pharmaceutical production.
1. Maltodextrin is added to dairy products such as milk powder. It can expand the volume of the product, prevent clumping, dissolve quickly, have good compatibility, extend the shelf life of the product, while reducing costs and improving economic benefits.
2. Used in nutritional snacks such as soy milk powder, instant cereal, and malt extract. It has a good taste and instant thickening effect, avoiding sedimentation and layering, and can absorb bean or milk smell
